Festival Parnters

Brisbane City Council

As the local Brisbane City Councillor for The Gabba Ward, Helen Abrahams is delighted to sponsor the inaugural West End Film Festival with funding provided through the Lord Mayor's Suburban Initiative Fund program.

The West End Film Festival provides both an unique opportunity for film makers to showcase their creativity but also combines this into a community celebration of film screenings and awards ceremony.  Council supports local projects that help to build stronger communities and this Festival mirrors Council's 2026 vision of living in a "vibrant and creative" city.
